A Captivating Moment at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

During my visit to Warnham Local Nature Reserve on 14th September, I was lucky enough to witness a truly delightful scene: a coot sprinting across the water, its feet barely touching the surface as it created a flurry of splashes. These birds are always fascinating to watch, moving with such energy and determination across the pond.

The morning light was simply perfect, catching every droplet mid-air and highlighting the fleeting beauty of the moment. It’s experiences like these that remind me why I always keep my camera close — you never know when nature will put on such a spectacular display.

Warnham Local Nature Reserve continues to be a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike. From the graceful birds skimming the ponds to the serene landscapes, there’s always something magical waiting to be captured.
