A Wonderful Day at Warnham Local Nature Reserve
Visiting Warnham Local Nature Reserve on 16th August 2025 was an absolute delight! 🌿 The reserve never fails to surprise with its incredible wildlife, and this day was no exception.
One of the highlights was spotting Gadwalls gliding gracefully through the air. Their smooth, elegant flight is always a pleasure to watch and makes for a fantastic photography opportunity. Alongside them, a tiny ladybird perched delicately on a blade of grass, a reminder of the smaller wonders that often go unnoticed in nature. 🐞
The water brought its own charm, as little grebe chicks waddled closely with their adult, exploring their watery surroundings with curiosity and charm. Watching their playful antics up close was a heartwarming sight. 🪶
Adding a touch of energy to the scene, a Magpie swooped by in flight, showing off its bold, lively nature and making the day even more memorable. 🕊️
