A Delightful Day at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

I spent a wonderful day at Warnham Local Nature Reserve on 13th July 2025, surrounded by the sights and sounds of summer in full swing. 🌿

During my visit, I had the pleasure of spotting and photographing the Green-Veined White butterfly. These delicate creatures are often overlooked, but I find them truly captivating. I was lucky enough to capture shots of one both in graceful flight and resting on vibrant flowers, showcasing their subtle beauty up close. 🦋

Butterfly photography can be a challenge — timing, focus, and patience all come into play — but moments like these make it incredibly rewarding. The Green-Veined White, with its understated elegance, reminded me why I love spending time in nature, camera in hand.

I’ve shared a selection of my favourite shots from the day, and I’d love to hear which one catches your eye!
