Discovering the Stunning Willow Emerald Damselfly at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

On 9th August 2025, I spent a wonderful day exploring Warnham Local Nature Reserve, and I was lucky enough to capture one of nature’s most delicate gems—the Willow Emerald Damselfly. These small yet captivating creatures are a true marvel, with their iridescent green bodies that shimmer beautifully against the backdrop of water and reeds.

Watching the Willow Emerald Damselfly in its natural habitat was a reminder of how intricate and vibrant wildlife can be. Their fragile wings and vivid coloration make them a favorite subject for wildlife photography, offering a glimpse into the often-overlooked wonders of the natural world.
