Evening Wildlife at Ifiels Mill Pond

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Ifiels Mill Pond is always a beautiful place for evening visits, and the 25th of October 2025 offered some truly magical moments.

I captured a variety of scenes that evening: Coot and Moorhen in silhouette, reflected against the orange and golden water; a Muscovy Duck gliding serenely across the golden light; and a Mute Swan standing gracefully in the evening glow on dark water. The light was just perfect, highlighting the rich colours and serene atmosphere of the pond, creating images full of calm and beauty.

Evenings like this are a perfect reminder of why I love spending time with my camera in nature, capturing fleeting moments of wildlife in their natural habitat.
