Exploring the Wildlife at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

On 17th August 2025, I spent a wonderful day at Warnham Local Nature Reserve, capturing some of the incredible wildlife that makes this location so special. The reserve is always full of surprises, from tiny insects to vibrant birds, and it never fails to amaze.

One of the highlights of the day was photographing the Common Blue Damselfly. These delicate creatures are a joy to spot, often resting among the reeds, their striking blue wings glinting in the sunlight. Another memorable encounter was with the Common Darter, a dragonfly in full flight. Capturing its dynamic movement was both challenging and rewarding, highlighting the beauty and energy of the reserve’s insect life.

Whether you’re interested in macro photography, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the serene natural surroundings, there is always something to inspire awe.
