Great Spotted Woodpecker in the Morning Light at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve offered a peaceful morning on 23rd November 2025, full of subtle and rewarding moments.

I was lucky enough to photograph a Great Spotted Woodpecker moving through the trees in the soft morning light. The low sun beautifully highlighted the detail in its plumage, creating one of those quiet moments that make early starts so worthwhile.
