A Kingfisher Sighting at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

On 10th August 2025, I spent a wonderful day at Warnham Local Nature Reserve and was fortunate enough to witness one of the most striking residents of the reserve in action – the Kingfisher. These vibrant little birds are always a joy to watch, and seeing one so close in its natural environment is a truly memorable experience.

During my visit, I managed to capture a variety of moments. From the Kingfisher flying gracefully across the water to brief glimpses among the reeds on the far side of the lake, every sighting was a reminder of the beauty and agility of this incredible bird. I also caught a few moments of it perched, giving me the chance to appreciate its vivid colours and keen presence up close.

Observing the Kingfisher at Warnham Local Nature Reserve is a reminder of the amazing wildlife that thrives in our local habitats.
