A Morning of Wildlife Activity at Warnham Local Nature Reserve
Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve delivered another lovely morning on 26th October 2025, with plenty of activity across the water and around the reeds.
I managed to capture a Cormorant in flight, a Eurasian Wigeon drifting calmly across the lake, and a Great Crested Grebe literally running across the water’s surface. A Grey Heron also provided a stunning flyover above the reeds, while a Magpie paused perfectly on a branch for a quick portrait.
The visit finished with a peaceful moment watching a Mute Swan glide across the water, alongside a beautifully marked male Northern Shoveler. A wonderful mix of action and calm, and another rewarding visit to Warnham — a place that never disappoints.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to explore more wildlife moments from Warnham Local Nature Reserve and beyond.
