A Stunning Autumn Morning at Ifield Mill Pond

Autumn has a way of transforming our local nature spots into breathtaking scenes, and my morning at Ifield Mill Pond on 6th September 2025 was no exception. The autumn colours were absolutely stunning, with golden and amber tones reflecting perfectly on the calm water. The soft morning light added a magical touch, creating a serene atmosphere ideal for wildlife photography.

During my visit, I was lucky to capture a Black-Headed Gull in action as it skillfully snatched a fish from the pond. Nearby, a Coot glided gracefully through the shimmering reflections, adding a sense of movement to the tranquil scene. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of how nature puts on a spectacular show in every season, especially in the autumn months.
