Brent Goose, Canada Goose, and Kingfisher at Hayling Island Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Hayling Island Nature Reserve is always a spectacular location for early morning visits, and the 18th of October 2025 offered a truly magical experience.

The skies were painted a warm orange, casting the flocks of Brent Goose and Canada Goose, as well as a Kingfisher, into striking silhouettes. There’s something genuinely special about observing these birds bathed in the quiet glow of morning light — nature’s artistry at its finest. Moments like these highlight the beauty and serenity that wildlife reserves can offer, making early starts well worth the effort.

Thanks for reading! Be sure to explore my other wildlife adventures and photography from Hayling Island Nature Reserve and beyond. Every visit brings something new, and I look forward to sharing more moments soon.
