Wildlife Highlights at Hayling Island Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Hayling Island Nature Reserve is always full of fascinating wildlife, and the 18th of October 2025 provided a truly rewarding day of observation and photography.

Highlights from the day included Common Redshanks in flight, a majestic Curlew, the striking Grey Plover, a beautiful Kingfisher, a Meadow Pipit in flight, an Oystercatcher, and even a Swallow. Watching these birds up close, observing their behaviour and movement, is always inspiring and reminds me of the incredible variety of life that can be found in one location.

It’s remarkable how much activity and energy you can witness when you take the time to watch closely. Every visit to Hayling Island Nature Reserve brings something new and unexpected, making it a truly special place for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Thanks for reading! Be sure to explore my other wildlife adventures and photography from Hayling Island Nature Reserve and beyond. Every visit brings something new, and I look forward to sharing more moments soon.
