Kingfisher in Action at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve is always full of incredible birdwatching opportunities, and the morning of 28th September 2025 was particularly special thanks to an active Kingfisher.

I was lucky enough to capture the Kingfisher perched perfectly on a stick, followed by a brief hover over the water as it hunted. A long cropped shot across the lake really highlights just how vibrant and focused these birds can be when searching for prey. Observing them in action is always thrilling, and moments like these serve as a perfect reminder that patience in wildlife photography is always rewarded.

Thanks for reading! Be sure to explore my other wildlife adventures and photography from Warnham Local Nature Reserve and beyond. Every visit brings something new, and I look forward to sharing more moments soon.
