Buzzard Soaring Above RSPB Pulborough Brooks

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! RSPB Pulborough Brooks is one of my favourite places to visit during the changing seasons, offering a fantastic mix of habitats and wildlife throughout the year. On 22nd April 2026, I spent some time exploring the reserve, enjoying the beautiful spring weather and the wonderful wildlife activity that comes with this time of year.

One of the highlights of the visit was watching a Buzzard soaring high above the reserve. Against the backdrop of clear blue skies, this impressive bird of prey circled effortlessly on the rising air currents, giving me the perfect opportunity to capture its graceful flight. Watching a Buzzard in this way is always a special experience, seeing how it uses the landscape and wind to move with such ease.

RSPB Pulborough Brooks continues to be a rewarding location for wildlife photography, with every visit offering the chance to experience something different. Moments like this are a reminder of why spending time outdoors with a camera is so enjoyable — observing wildlife, waiting patiently, and capturing those brief encounters in their natural surroundings.
