A Morning with Little Grebes at Warnham Local Nature Reserve
On the morning of 10th August 2025, Warnham Local Nature Reserve offered another delightful wildlife experience. During my visit, I was fortunate to spot a Little Grebe with its catch, a captivating moment that highlighted the skill and agility of these small water birds. Nearby, several juvenile Little Grebes were also present, adding to the charm of the scene.
Watching their behaviour up close is always a treat. From the way they dive and resurface with their prey to the interactions between the young grebes and their parent, every movement provides a fascinating insight into their daily life.
