Exploring the Pond at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

On 9th August 2025, I spent some peaceful time exploring the pond at Warnham Local Nature Reserve. There’s something truly special about this spot—the calm water, the lush greenery, and the abundance of wildlife make it a photographer’s paradise.

During my visit, I focused on capturing the vibrant Water Lily as it stood out beautifully against the darker pond background. The contrast really brought the flower’s intricate details to life in my photos. I also enjoyed photographing the delicate Pickerel Weed, which added subtle texture and colour to the pond scenes.

What I love most about visiting this reserve is the chance to discover all the little details that often go unnoticed—the patterns on leaves, reflections in the water, and the tiny creatures that inhabit the pond. Each visit brings something new to appreciate and photograph.
