Blue Tits Among Autumn Colour at Warnham Local Nature Reserve
I spent a lovely morning at Warnham Local Nature Reserve on 6th December 2025 and was treated to a flurry of activity from the Blue Tits moving through the trees.
There were so many of them hopping between branches, rarely staying still for long, filling the woodland with movement and quiet energy. The surrounding autumn colours added a beautiful backdrop, with warm tones contrasting perfectly against the blues and yellows of their plumage.
It was a peaceful and vibrant scene to watch unfold, one of those moments where everything comes together naturally — light, colour, and behaviour. Capturing these small, lively birds in such a setting felt especially rewarding and made for a calm, enjoyable start to the day.
Warnham continues to offer moments like this even as winter approaches, reminding me that there’s always beauty to be found if you slow down and spend time observing what’s around you.
