Blue Tits at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve is a wonderful place to observe seasonal wildlife throughout the year, and my visit on 21st February 2026 was a perfect example of the quiet charm this reserve offers in winter.

I spent a lovely day exploring the reserve and capturing some of its delightful winter visitors. Among the highlights were several cheerful Blue Tits flitting among the branches, bringing flashes of colour and energy to the otherwise calm woodland setting. Their quick, playful movements and bright plumage made them a constant joy to watch and photograph as they moved through the trees in search of food.

Even in the colder months, Warnham never fails to deliver special moments. It’s always a pleasure to spend time here and observe these small birds up close in their natural habitat, especially when the woods are quiet and the wildlife activity feels that little bit more intimate.

Thanks for reading! Be sure to explore my other wildlife adventures and photography from reserves across the UK. Every visit brings something new, and I look forward to sharing more moments from the field soon.
