Common Teal in Flight at Warnham Local Nature Reserve
I spent some time at Warnham Local Nature Reserve on 13th December 2025 and was lucky enough to capture a group of stunning Common Teal in flight.
Watching these small ducks lift off and skim across the water is always a special sight. Their rapid wingbeats and tight formations create an impressive display of speed and coordination, and seeing them move so gracefully across the lake was a real highlight of the visit.
Moments like this are a great reminder of how rewarding winter visits to Warnham can be. Even on quieter days, the reserve offers fleeting bursts of energy and beauty, making every outing with the camera feel worthwhile.
