Grey Heron in Flight at Warnham Local Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve offered a calm and rewarding moment on 13th November 2025.

I was lucky enough to watch and photograph a Grey Heron flying low across the lake, gliding effortlessly over the reeds. It’s always impressive to see their size and grace in flight, especially in such a peaceful setting. Capturing these moments reminds me of just how elegant and powerful these birds are in their natural habitat.

Warnham never disappoints when it comes to encounters like this, and it was a real pleasure to observe and photograph the heron in action.
