Male Mandarin Duck at Last Light, Warnham Local Nature Reserve

Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! Warnham Local Nature Reserve offered a truly special moment on 9th November 2025 during the final light of the day.

I was lucky enough to capture a male Mandarin Duck quietly moving across the water as the day faded. The soft, low light brought out the rich colours and subtle details of this stunning bird, creating a calm and almost timeless atmosphere. Moments like these are exactly why I keep returning to Warnham — you never quite know what the final minutes of daylight will reveal.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to explore more wildlife moments from Warnham Local Nature Reserve and beyond.
