Red Deer in the Golden Morning Light at Bushy Park
Welcome to my wildlife photography journal! An early morning visit to Bushy Park on 26th July 2026 provided a beautiful opportunity to photograph Red Deer in some wonderful summer light. The peaceful atmosphere and warm glow of the morning created the perfect conditions for capturing a slightly different view of these impressive animals.
As the sun rose, the soft golden light illuminated the background while the deer stood quietly in the foreground, creating striking silhouettes. Their outlines were beautifully defined against the warm, glowing surroundings, with the simplicity of the scene adding to the overall atmosphere.
There is something particularly special about photographing wildlife in these early morning conditions. Rather than concentrating on fine detail, the soft light allowed the shapes and silhouettes of the Red Deer to become the main focus of the images. It created a calm and atmospheric scene that reflected the peacefulness of Bushy Park at the start of the day.
It was a simple encounter, but sometimes the simplest moments can make the most memorable photographs. The combination of the Red Deer, warm morning light and quiet surroundings made this an especially enjoyable start to the day.
Thanks for reading! Be sure to explore my other wildlife adventures and photography from Bushy Park and beyond. Every visit brings something new, and I look forward to sharing more moments from the field soon.
